The Organic Breathable 2-Stage Crib Mattress combines breathability, waterproofing, and a 2-stage design for a safe and innovative mattress for baby. This mattress starts with a firm, flat crib mattress made from food-grade polyethylene for easy crib changing, and then we add the most hygienic breathable cover to maximize airflow. The waterproofing on the back of the cover protects the mattress from urine, spit-up, and other messes, and the 2-stage design allows the mattress to grow with your child.

  The Waterproof Breathable Cover maximizes airflow around the baby, which keeps baby cool and dry for a more comfortable sleep. The pad has waterproofing on the back of the cover to protect against messes. The mattress can be used with or without the breathable pad. Machine wash and dry.

  Choose from a heavy-duty  plus strong 9 gauge edge support or our patented wavesupport™ technology, made from pure food-grade . Lightweight wavesupport technology provides excellent support and durability that rivals innersprings and premium foams. The wave structure achieves incredible strength with less material, offering an ultra lightweight design with increased structural stability as compared to conventional foams. It is both firm and comfortable, with strong side, center and corner support. NO polyurethane foam!
• Seamless Waterproof Edges 
  Heat sealed waterproof seams provide a more contemporary look and also prevent moisture penetration for a more hygienic design. Dust mites and bed bugs can no longer live in the seams and enter through the sewn holes. This construction is also more durable as it reduces the possibility of the seam tearing or the thread breaking and unraveling. Wipes clean to the edge!

• Organic Cotton Waterproof Fabric 
  Luxurious organic cotton fabric with easy-to-clean  waterproof surface (so pure it meets food contact standards). Provides a stain resistant waterproof mattress cover. Also functions as a  barrier - no need for an additional dust mite encasing. This product is covered by U.S. Patent No. 9,259,096. Other patents pending.
• Organic Cotton Filling 
  Organic cotton is the purest form of cotton and a healthier alternative to synthetic fabrics and foams. Naturepedic uses only U.S. grown and certified organic cotton as filling for its mattresses and buys directly from USDA certified sources. This increases purity, organic reliability and support for U.S. farmers.
